We are excited to welcome Scott and Lynda Hardee as the newest missionary volunteers to join Hope 4 Liberia Orphanage! Hailing from Iowa, Scott and Lynda bring a heart for service and a deep love for the children we care for.

We are grateful to have them on board and look forward to the impact they will make as part of our mission family. Please join us in welcoming Scott and Lynda to our team!

Scott and Lynda Hardee grew up in a farming community surrounded by fields of corn, beans, and various livestock, including cows, pigs, and chickens. Their paths crossed at a Christian youth center, where they formed a strong bond through their shared faith and values.

Together, they have dedicated their lives to serving children in need, working at two Christian homes for children. They spent two years serving at a home in Mississippi and another year at a children's home in Tennessee. This early experience fueled their passion for working with vulnerable children.

For the past twenty years, Scott and Lynda have made annual trips to Guatemala, spending about two months each year working alongside various missionaries. Their ministry focuses on serving both children and adults, many of whom have special needs. Their heart for the marginalized and their commitment to serving others is evident in their long-standing work in Guatemala.

In addition to their ministry work, Scott and Lynda have been blessed with a large family of their own. They raised five children, who in turn have given them the joy of being grandparents to 19 grandchildren. Their deep family roots, combined with their unwavering faith, guide their mission to care for others and spread the love of Christ wherever they go.
