JUNE 30, 2024: Over the last two weeks we received delegations from different agencies of the Liberian Government to assess the home and facilities at our orphanage to make sure we are in keeping with proper standard of operation. The delegation included representatives from the Women and Children Protection Section, Gender, Education and others.
The assessment included everything from the bathrooms to the kitchens, bedrooms, yard, mini-clinic, classroom, farm, security and record mechanism, staffing among others. It was a vigorous and very cordial process and we want to commend the Government of Liberia (GoL) for its commitment to making sure orphanages in Liberia are abiding to standards that will ensure the healthy wellbeing of orphans in the country.
Hope 4 Liberia remains committed to operating according to the GoL standards and policies. The recent assessment even motivates us to do more so that our children can be given the best life possible.
