Today was a day of excitement, exploration, and new experiences for our children as we embarked on a school field trip to Wulki Farm. This trip was not just fun—it was educative and inspiring for everyone involved.
Our children had the unique opportunity to tour the expansive facility, marveling at the wonders of God’s creation. From ostriches and turkeys to crocodiles, rabbits, and quails, they were amazed by the variety of animals. They also enjoyed the beauty of nature that surrounded the area, taking in sights that were both refreshing and awe-inspiring.
The highlight of the day was undoubtedly the horse ride, where each child had a chance to enjoy a new adventure that brought big smiles and plenty of laughs. But the excitement didn’t stop there! For the first time ever, our children experienced the joy of swimming. Watching them splash, laugh, and have the time of their lives in the pool was a heartwarming sight.
This incredible experience would not have been possible without the efforts of Jim and Janelle, who organized the trip, and the generosity of our supporters who provided the funds to make it happen. We are also grateful to our amazing Liberian staff—including our boys’ and girls’ caregivers, nurse, and teachers—who were present to support and share in the fun, ensuring our children had a truly unforgettable day.
As we return to school tomorrow, the memories of today will stay with us, sparking conversations and reliving the joy and wonder of this special trip.
